Looking for an authentic base for remote work that isn’t too crowded? Then Bosnia and Herzegovina is a great choice. Last year, I spent a month here as a part of the RECOOPER Project, backed by EU, and loved it! Here’s why and what to do once you’re here.

Here you’ll find everything from destination guides, gastronomy, and cultural insights to unique events, authentic experiences, factors that make city X unique or a great place to live, meaningful travel tips – and so on. Ranging from in-depth content to straightforward recommendations.
What makes my travel content unique
- I’ve traveled full-time since 2016, speak 5 languages, and often spend longer in a place than a “typical tourist”. I’ve spent months in many of the countries featured and traveled within them a lot. Some of them I return to regularly!
- While some are more about places looking good in photos, I’m more about the reality. For me, travel has always been about much more than seeing pretty places. While that is great, connecting with a place, people, share stories and open your mind to how many ways one can choose to live takes it to another level!
- My content is centered around people, places, experiences, lifestyles, perspectives, and cultures. I always want to give you a realistic idea of what it is. More about my travel style here.
- Wherever I go, I always invest time in understanding the place and connecting with people and the culture. Often in collaboration with contacts and friends from the area. While I might visit some main attractions, I’ll always look for places and experiences outside of the mainstream – that will help you understand what really makes it special!

Roadtripping in Spain.
Hi there
I’m Samira
I’m an entrepreneur in place development, marketing and lifestyle design. I help purpose-driven brands and places that prioritize community, culture, and meaningful experiences improve and grow their impact. From identifying the right audience and creating irresistible offers in collaboration with local entrepreneurs, to developing vibrant communities where locals, remote workers and visitors can connect, to specific marketing campaigns.
Always with a focus on strategies that support local communities, inspire intentional living and genuine connection.
I also help ambitious people who want to design an intentional, free lifestyle aligned with who they are. I’ve been location-independent since 2016 and learned a lot along the way about how to challenge stereotypes and create life that feels more meaningful and authentic.
So far, I’ve visited 50+ countries, while helping some of the biggest brands in the world, local entrepreneurs and places from Europe to Latin America. I’ve inspired thousands of people to experience more and live in alignment with who they are – and this is only the beginning.
